advancements in the primates. This ultimately created a society that had to coexist with apes that were now just as advanced as humans. The people living in this society rejected the results of this technological advancement and reacted violently in a war against the apes. Thus, one can find from both of these examples that society reacts differently to industrialization depending on how familiar they are with the advancement and how progressive it actually is. They are more likely to be accepting if the changes made to their society are not only beneficial but smaller and more progressive rather than larger and more rapid.
showed a progression from a society that included robots as personal assistants to an upgraded version of the robots that appeared to be more humanistic. Their body structures, eye color, and functions were more similar to a human than the older robots were. Because the society transitioned from having robots to advancing the technology to an upgraded version of the robots, people were less critical of this change and more accepting.
